Dadar Gulung (Pandan Pfannkuchen)

0 - 99 years Strandhöft Strandhöft, 20457 Hamburg – Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ke4apiM4yRAHUUPF7

Dadar Gulung (pandan pancake) is a traditional dessert from the Indonesian island of Java and is one of the classic market snacks (Jajanan Pasar). This specialty originated during the colonial era, when the Javanese people adopted the European pancake-making technique and reinterpreted it using regional ingredients. The characteristic green wrapper is colored with fresh pandan leaves, which give it a delicate, herbal aroma. The roll is filled with a mixture of shredded coconut and caramelized palm sugar.
